Juxtaposition
Since his beginnings with “Nouvelle Tendence” during the 1960s Hartmut Böhm, is challenging the structures and border zones of Constructive and Concrete Art in his precise and consequent manner for almost 50 years. Böhm is one of the internationally most renowned German artists in this field. His concept is called “Progressionen gegen Unendlich” [progression towards infinity] and his form finding is based on acutely formal reduction.
